The Perfect Dupe || Diorskin Nude BB Creme

Top- Garnier BB cream | bottom Diorskin Nude BB

Hello lovelies, so I think I have found the perfect dupe for Diorskin Nude BB Creme! The Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream for oily/combination skin. The moment I tried it it reminded me so much of the Diorskin, the finish is near on the same. They both provide excellent coverage and dry to an almost powdery finish. The textures are different though, the Garnier is really runny and a tad hard to control, the Diorskin is much thicker and smoother in texture. I always set with a powder and find that they both last the same amount of time (8hrs) before wearing off. So if you have oily/acne prone skin and are looking for something light weight but doesn't compromise on coverage, then I think the Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector is the one for you! At around £7.99 you can't go wrong.

Current Face Base

Hello lovelies apologies for being MIA. I thought I would come back with my favourite topic foundation. I do love a flawless face, don't we all? It has been a while since I strayed from my beloved Bare minerals but I had heard so much about the Laura Mercier mineral foundation and ofcourse those of you who watch  LisaLisaD1 will know it is her holy grail foundation. She always has this beautiful glow to her skin and now I know why. I took the plunge and bought the shade Rich Vanilla which is perfect for when I'm self tanned. In hindsight I should of got Sand which is one shade lighter. Never the less it is a gorgeous warm colour that brings my face to life. The texture is so fine and it buffs into the skin like silk. The finish is absolutely stunning. Skin looks smooth and radiant. It doesn't get oily or chalky during the day and doesn't disintegrate at all. It looks perfect all day long. I am truly amazed by this foundation. I have been pairing it up with the Garnier BB cream for oily/combo skin which is phenomenal for a BB cream. The coverage is medium to full. It mattifies the skin, covers imperfections and stays put all day. Winner! I pop on some Maybelline Instant Age Rewind concealer in the shade light under my eyes and away I go. This takes less than five minutes to do in the morning.

What is your current face base?

My Favourite BB Creams

Hello beauties!! I thought I would share some of my favourite BB creams of the moment.

I remember when I first heard about BB creams and was instantly curious and desperate to get my hands on one, but which one? So many companies have brought them out from drugstore to high end and ofcourse overseas where they first originated from.

So the whole idea of the BB cream which stands for Blemish Balm, is an all in one product, including your skincare, anti-age, concealing, base and SPF.

There are so many to choose from depending on your skin type and the coverage and finish you prefer.

Korea has been one of the leading markets for the BB cream and their most popular is a brand called Lioele which I'm sure most of you have heard of on Youtube. I have the triple the solution which has SPF of 30+++ and anti wrinkle care. This has amazing coverage, takes down any redness in my skin and give me a matte finish which I love, I use Mac mineralize skinfinish over the top, which warms it up as it can be a bit pale on its own.

The Bobbie Brown SPF 35 is nice enough, but for me, has not enough coverage and leaves my skin pretty shiny. Its great for wearing at the beach or by the pool. Its more like a tinted moisturiser.

The Dior Nude SPF 10 has to be my absolute favourite at the moment, it smell glorious, feels like silk and just melts into my skin blurring out imperfections. Now I know it has a low SPF, but I love wearing this with my BareMinerals Ready Foundation SPF 20. The combination of these two are a match made in heaven. My skin looks glowy, not shiny and fresh all day long.

Starting from left to right: Dior Nude BB SPF 10 in shade 002, Lioele Triple the Solution SPF 30+++ one shade, and Bobbi Brown BB SPF 35 in shade Fair.
